      故事思维可以打动人心 --《哈佛商业评论》

       

      故事思维即为Story-telling

      海外本科申请,是一个申请者向学校讲述自己的故事过程

      如何展现自己的优势?如何与学校的要求匹配?......

      回答好这些命题不仅需要学生的基础能力

      更需要他们知道如何利用自身特点讲述一个打动人心的故事

       

      在YOC

      选手通过学习并撰写调查报道,练就“如何用英文讲一个故事”的能力

      "在参加YOC之前,我的托福写作是26分。YOC结束了之后,我托福考到30,SAT写作考到878。

      另外,我们学校从高二有很多学术性报告写作。有了曾经的YOC打底,比起其他同学,我当时没有那种很慌的感觉。"

    • YOC奖项说明

      青年观察奖

      YOC青年观察项目按照绝对标准评判制进行评奖。

       

      作品的获奖与否,取决于作品本身质量的高低,而非选手之间的相对比较。

      只要选手的作品足够好即可获得奖项,若选手作品质量不高,则奖项会空缺。

       

      青年观察项目奖项共分成Superior, Excellent, Honorable Mention3个等级:

       

      Superior Award 最佳青年观察奖(85分及以上)

      Excellent Award 卓越青年观察奖(75分及以上)

      Honorable Mention Award 优秀青年观察奖(60分及以上)

       

      所有青年观察奖的获奖作品将被收录进本年度项目获奖作品集。本届青年观察项目共有队伍342支。因版面所限,本页面只公布Superior及Excellent队伍名单,其余奖项和成绩请在系统中查看。

      青年影响奖

      青年影响奖为项目特别奖项。评委会根据作品选题意义等,选出后期具有延伸及较高报道价值、对青年群体有一定意义的作品。虽然部分作品仍待进步,但希望小组能够继续深入自己的选题并进一步完善调研成果。

      该奖项评奖与青年观察奖独立进行,可同时授予。

    • 版面说明

      每年YOC都会收到大量不同主题的深度调查报告,选题的全面性已经成为了YOC青年观察项目的突出特点。因此,为了让团队在更为一致的维度参与评审,当届评委会依照内容主题划分专题组,即版面。版面分类也将有助于记录当年的时事、热点与发展趋势。

       

      2020年,YOC评审委员会设置以下五个专题组(版面)开展评奖:

      The underprivileged groups are never absent in our youth observation reports. We are very proud that our youth observers always shed a light on those who have been neglected but need more attention and help.
